Jeanne Stevens-Sollman was appointed to the CCAC in 2024 to the position specially qualified in medallic arts or sculpture.  Jeanne had served in the past on the CCAC as a member representing the general public. In 2012 she was appointed to the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee for the US Mint by the Secretary of the Treasury, and was reappointed for a second four-year term in September, 2016.

Jeanne Stevens-Sollman is a full time studio artist living in Centre County, Pennsylvania with her artist/craftsman husband, Phil Sollman. Jeanne is internationally recognized for her bronze medallions and relief work as well as her long time series of rabbits. Her work is found in many private collections in addition to the permanent collections of the State Museum in Harrisburg, PA; the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Loretto, PA; The British Museum, London, England; The Smithsonian, Washington, DC; and the National Museum of Medallic Art, Warsaw, Poland.  Before embarking on her medallic career, Jeanne taught at Penn State University, Juniata College, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.

Currently a member of the Advisory Board of the Bellefonte Art Museum and her most recent commission is for the British Art Medal Society for the British Museum. Jeanne was appointed to the Board of Directors for the American Medallic Sculpture Association in 2022.  Born in Providence, Rhode Island she completed her MFA at The Pennsylvania State University in 1972. Then returned for post graduate work with Professor John Cook in Medallic Art in 1984.  She is the recipient of the J. Saltus Sanford Award from the American Numismatic Society, 1999; the Dutch Art Medal Society Award at FIDEM (Federation Internationale de la Medaille) in 1998; the Award of Excellence in Medallic Art from the American Numismatic Association in 2007, as well as receiving the Award of Distinction in sculpture from the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Loretto, PA. Jeanne was the Director for the Trout Run Medallic Symposium in 1997, 1999, 2001, an international gathering of medallic artists and collectors held in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania.  She is a Penn State Alumni Fellow as well as a Fellow of the American Numismatic Society. A past president of the American Medallic Sculpture Association and was a US Delegate to FIDEM (Federation Internationale de la Medaille).  

Past president of the American Medallic Sculpture Association, Jeanne also serves at the US Delegate to FIDEM (Federation Internationale de la Medaiile).

Her work is exhibited widely throughout the US and abroad with solo exhibits at the Southern Allegheny Museum of Art, the American Numismatic Society in New York, the Art Store in Charleston, W VA, the Laurel Highlands Museum of Art, Somerset, PA. In March, 2017, Stevens-Sollman was guest curator of the medallic exhibition, Medals: Art to Honor, Dedicate and Remember, at the Bellefonte Art Museum for Centre County Pennsylvania.

Her recently completed series of 12 bronze fossil medallions can be seen in the Children's Garden learning spiral at the H.O. Smith Arboretum at Penn State, University Park, PA. In addition, her life-size animals depicting Pennsylvania's wildlife can also be seen at the Arboretum and Penns Cave Wildlife Park. Stevens-Sollman's commissions include the Awards for Penn State Alumni Association:  The Alumni Achievement Award, The Alumni Fellow Award, the Honorary Alum Award; Outreach World Campus Award, Outreach Pioneer Award, Outreach Award of Distinction as well as the Award of Distinction for Penn State Institute for Arts and Humanities.

As an environmentalist, Jeanne was instrumental in reclassifying Buffalo Run, a Centre County stream in Pennsylvania, to a High Quality Cold Water Stream keeping one of Pennsylvania's beautiful Brown Trout waterways safe from the impact of development.
